Snooki Not Being Truthful to Her Fans about New Skinny Body
September 27, 2011 07:40 PM EDT
Snooki showed off her new super skinny body in Las Vegas recently and thanked the diet pills Zantrex. However, she's now being called out for not disclosing that she is paid to promote the pills.
Snooki has been talking about the diet pills on Twitter for months, saying, "Glad to hear reports that say I look good =) but it's not because of HCG! Thanks @Zantrex!" among other things. She has even tweeted that the pills are on sale at Walgreens in case you want to run out and get them so you can look like the pint-sized reality star.
However, she has never actually came out and said that she is a paid spokesperson for the pills—until now.
Snooki was forced to announce that yes, she is in fact paid to promote the pills after numerous news outlets called her out for promoting them without letting people know she was basically advertising for the company.
Snooki tweeted a clarification in case anyone was confused (which obviously a lot of people are):

One of my followers asked if I was a paid spokesperson for zantrex...yes haven't you seen the ads in Star?
Do you think it was fair of Snooki to not be truthful with her fans? She should have let people know that she was being paid to promote the pills, not act as if she loved them just because they worked for her.Photo courtesy of Fabulous Buzz
