Jersey Shore's most infamous "guidette" Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi has been taken into custody while filming in Italy.
Snooki and the rest of the tan-loving, gym-going New Jersey locals have been on location in Florence filming the fourth season of the popular MTV series.
The reality starlet, who is also a New York Times bestselling author for her novel A Shore Thing, was reportedly driving with her co-star Jenni 'J-WOWW' Farley when she crashed into a police car.

No one was injured however witnesses say J-WOWW had to crawl out of the window of the vehicle which was wedged between the police car and a highway pylon.
MTV representatives were quick to squash claims that alcohol was involved.  
Officials in Florence have banned the cast and crew from filming at some of the city's most famous locations including the Uffizi Gallery and sculpture-filled Baboli Gardens.
Mayor Matteo Renzi has also warned the stars including Snooki, J-WOWW and Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino they are not to drink in public and are not permitted to film in licensed bars and clubs around the city.
He said he wanted the show to promote Italy and feature its culture, traditions and good food.
The upcoming season will be a departure from what audiences expect from the group of American-Italian 20-somethings who, for three seasons, drank vodka shots, ate fast food and were embroiled in numerous physical scuffles including one which saw Snooki being punched in the face by a man at Jersey Shore bar.
Snooki who now commands more than $30,000 per episode, has added weight-loss wunderkind to her resume after shedding eight kilograms from her 150cm frame, a achievement which she credits to a healthy diet, exercise and diet pills.
Upon arriving in Italy she took to Twitter for advice on where to find Zantrex-3, diet supplements favoured by Britney Spears.

There is no arguing with the fact that Snooki is looking great as she tapes the newest season of Jersey Shore in Florence; she has slimmed down, firmed up, and continued her successful diet regimen while in Italy.

But now it seems that her transformation took more than just hard work and salads. Not only did Snooki tweet a picture in March that shows a bottle of Zantrex on her dresser, she is now pimping the product as well.

Today, she tweeted, “Tons of good food here! Continuing my workouts and does anyone know where I can find some Zantrex fat burner in Italy? I am running out!”

This is the first we’re hearing about the diet supplement, Snooks! And we just gave you props for getting healthy the right way. What happened to egg whites, Zumba, and lots of water?

Before Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi hit Italy with her "Jersey Shore" castmates, the pint-sized reality star opened up to Out magazine about fame and why she compares herself to Lady Gaga.

"I think I always wanted to be famous, but I think I got really lucky with the 'Jersey Shore,'" she says.

Adding, "I'm definitely like one in a million. I'm just so weirdo and I don't really care what people think about me and I just say how I feel."

So how does Gaga tie in to all of this? When Snooki talks about her signature style, she has this to say about the pop superstar:

"I'm definitely my own style like, leopard print, like, total Guidette. Just like everybody loves Gaga. Why does everybody love Gaga? Because she's herself and she's not trying to be anybody but her. So I think, you know, I kinda... I'm kinda like Gaga."

We see where she was going with the statement... but really? The "Kinda" is key for swallowing that comment.

Spotted: Snooki & Jwoww & The Other 'Jersey Shore' Girls Heading To Italy

"Jersey Shore" girls Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi, Jenni 'JWoww' Farley, Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola and Deena Nicole Cortese, arrived at the airport in New York City yesterday to film season 4 of the show in Italy.

The girls carried a large amount of animal print luggage, pillows and stuffed animals.

"Jersey Shore" star Angelina Pivarnick recently called off her engagement, even though she's pregnant with her former fiance's child. Dave Kovacs has dumped the reality TV star after learning she had been unfaithful with a fireman.

Italy Trip Delayed for Snooki!!

Snooki and friends bid farewell to the Jersey Shore this weekend, and attempted to travel across the pond to begin filming in Italy … but they didn’t make it very far. 

According to the New York Post, the country has revoked some of the MTV show’s permits to film the reality show. The guido and guidette cast members were headed to Newark Airport before receiving news that it may take as long as a week before they’ll make it to Europe. According to Radar Online, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio and Vinny Guadagnino had already been taped with their suitcases heading to the airport.
This isn’t the first speed bump the highly anticipated show has run into…

Back in April, Gawker and several other media outlets published a list of guidelines for the Jersey Shore roommates that was reportedly from Mayor Matteo Renzi that was released to an Italian newspaper. The alleged rules read:

• The cast will not be filmed in bars and clubs that serve alcohol.
• The cast will not be filmed drinking in public.
• The show will not be filmed to promote Florence as a drinking town.
• The show should be filmed in a manner to promote Italy (not Americans visiting Italy) and feature its culture and good food.

The Bio Channel is giving Bristol Palin a reality series.
The network said Monday that Palin will star in a 10-episode series. She is the daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and a former contestant on "Dancing With the Stars."
The new series will follow her move from Alaska to Los Angeles with her son, Tripp, to work at a small charity. The single mom will live with actor brothers Kyle and Christopher Massey. The network says Kyle Massey is a fellow "Dancing" contestant and good friend.
Besides reality TV, the 20-year-old Palin has earned hundreds of thousands of dollars as a spokeswoman working to prevent teen pregnancy.
Her as-yet-untitled series is slated to air in late 2011.

Snooki is losing weight. And believe it or not, it looks like she might be blossoming into (gasp!) a hottie.

The pint-sized "Jersey Shore" star, known for her orange skin and rather portly figure, is slimming down for the summer.

Last Friday, the 23-year-old tweeted a photo of herself looking decidedly thinner, with the comment:

"Water is my new best friend. #dieting."

Snooki vowed to lose weight at the beginning of this year, and she appears to be keeping her New Year's resolution.

"'My number one [resolution] is definitely to keep up with my training and keep losing weight and getting toned," she told E! News in January.

"I try to eat healthy. I just have to quit the drinking so much. If I do drink, it's going to be, like, vodka and seltzer ... maybe like two or three."'

Some habits are just too hard to break.
